Mover Verification Policy
Effective Date: August 2, 2025
1. Purpose
This policy establishes requirements, verification procedures, and responsibilities for movers registered on XbomaSwift. It ensures transparency, trust, and clarifies XbomaSwift's legal role.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all movers offering relocation or transport services via XbomaSwift. It does not apply to tenants or landlords, except in their interactions with movers.
3. Definitions
- Mover: An independent service provider offering relocation services.
- Verified Mover: A mover who has submitted all required regulatory documents, approved by XbomaSwift.
- Not Verified Mover: A mover who has incomplete or unapproved documents.
4. Verification Requirements
- Commercial Vehicle License (CVL) or Operator’s License issued by NTSA.
- Vehicle registration documents (logbook or certificate of ownership).
- Insurance including Goods-in-Transit coverage.
- Valid driver credentials (license and ID).
Note: Submission of documents does not transfer legal liability to XbomaSwift.
5. Verification Process
- Movers upload documents during registration or in their account dashboard.
- XbomaSwift reviews documents for completeness and validity.
- Movers with all valid documents receive a Verified badge.
- Movers with missing or unapproved documents receive a Not Verified badge.
- Verification status is displayed on mover profiles for tenant review before hiring.
6. Responsibilities
- Movers: Maintain compliance with NTSA and insurance requirements, operate safely, and respond professionally to requests.
- Tenants: Review mover verification status and conduct due diligence before hiring.
7. XbomaSwift Role
- Acts solely as a digital connection platform between tenants and movers.
- Does not own, operate, or employ moving vehicles or personnel.
- Provides verification badges for transparency only.
- Reserves the right to suspend or remove movers who fail compliance, submit fraudulent documents, or engage in unsafe practices.
8. Limitation of Liability
XbomaSwift is not liable for accidents, damages, loss, or legal claims arising from moving services. All legal and operational responsibilities remain with the mover. Tenants hire movers at their own discretion.
9. Enforcement
Non-compliant movers may be removed, suspended, or reported to authorities. Compliance monitoring is ongoing to ensure platform safety.
10. Policy Updates
This policy may be revised periodically. Updated versions will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of XbomaSwift constitutes acceptance of updates.
